This low poly piece transforms a portrait into a geometric study of light, color, and form.
This digital self-portrait was created using the low poly technique, where images are reimagined as polygon-based compositions. Using Adobe Illustrator, I manually traced every triangle to form a stylized yet recognizable version of myself—capturing facial structure, hair, and clothing through sharp geometric precision.
Technique & Process
Each polygon was placed intentionally, with careful attention to how light and shadow would fall across different planes of the face. The process required both patience and precision, as I used the pen tool to map out subtle transitions and bold contours.
Color & Style
A warm, harmonious color palette was chosen to add depth and softness to the angular style. The result is a portrait that feels structured and dimensional while still carrying a personal, human feel.
Built entirely in Adobe Illustrator using hand-traced vector polygons.
